Our history first starts in 1953 with the founding of Valley Packing Services as a wholesale frozen food brokerage company sourcing frozen fruits, vegetables, and other related products for customers throughout the United States and across the globe. Valley Packing Services evolved, and Inn Foods was founded to purchase both domestic and imported products to market to our customers.

Inn Foods trademarked several well-known brands to market to our foodservice, retail and club store customers like: THE INN, VALLEY PAKT, VALLEY FROST, and GOLD PREMIUM just to name a few.

Since 1976, Inn Foods has been a dependable source of quality frozen products throughout the United States for industrial, foodservice, retail, and for co-manufacturing private label markets. We have an extensive network of domestic and international partners to ensure product availability for our customers. That goal has evolved into Inn Foods forming joint-venture investments to assure our customers have a reliable supply of the highest quality fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients.

Inn Foods has maintained the broker philosophy of providing quality service as a key component to maintaining successful, long-term partnerships with both customers and suppliers. Inn Foods has become known as a solutions company by always looking for ways to get the job done.

In 1984, Inn Foods saw the need for a repack plant to blend and package frozen foodservice and retail brands which evolved into a plant now capable of repacking meals that can be packed under USDA Meat and Poultry Inspection which may include any IQF ingredient including proteins, vegetables, starches, sauces, seasonings, and fruits.

We expanded our capabilities and services over time within niche markets and offer turnkey solutions of co-manufacturing frozen meal kits, skillet meals, and custom blends which can be produced under USDA Meat & Poultry Inspection if needed with many of these products being found right on the shelf in your grocery store.

In the March 2023 issue of Frozen & Refrigerated Foods, Inn Foods was listed as 25th out of the Top 150 Manufacturers in the United States with sales of 125 million dollars.

The VPS Companies, Inc., the parent company of 5 companies involved in the frozen food industry was formed with Inn Foods as the crown jewel of the business. Each subsidiary company is dedicated to exceeding customer expectations in quality service, marketing, production, sourcing, or development of frozen food products that meet the needs of today’s retail, industrial, and foodservice customers.
